Jo Landers Business Services provides a cost-effective way for small businesses, not for profits and sole proprietors to access specialized skills and services they may not maintain in-house, without the risk and expense of hiring and training an employee.
These services include bookkeeping, payroll and financial analysis, copywriting and content development, vendor and product research and recommendations, business and marketing plan development and/or implementation via print or web, printing, typesetting, and print project management and web site design and web site hosting services; either directly, as a liaison, or by referral to another vendor with a proven track record.
We fill the niche between unskilled or semiskilled vendors and full-service financial, design and marketing companies. This allows the business owner to concentrate on what they are interested in - working and growing their business - without being forced to commit large amounts of time and energy to the ongoing skills and services needed to keep their business or marketing running smoothly.
The primary goal at Jo Landers Business Services is to be the first place a small or medium-sized business thinks of when it needs expertise or resources it lacks in-house. As a secondary goal, it’s always great when we can refer one client business to another for other skills or services, building business relationships between clients!
No person or business exists in a vacuum. A local business can not be strong and healthy unless the community around it is also strong and healthy. Poverty, lack of education, pollution and disease detract from the overall health of any community and lower the quality of life for every person.
Maintaining healthy communities requires commitment and support. Jo Landers was a longtime member of the Hampshire Community Action Commission Board of Directors and Head Start Policy Council and provided in-kind services and/or direct financial support to the following organizations during 2006:
