For one flat fee each month you can:
Run as many payrolls as you need to. Whether you pay your employees every week or just once a month, the fee is the same.
Offer your employees direct deposit at no additional cost.
Track accrued vacation and sick time, and update automatically each time you run payroll.
Create payroll tax forms, file federal and state taxes electronically, and schedule payments.
Enter payroll information at your convenience, as late as 5pm EST two days before payday for direct deposit, or on payday if you handwrite or print your paychecks.You can even switch employees from direct deposit to printed checks for a single payroll if you've missed the cut-off for direct deposit. (Note that I do not recommend routinely waiting until the last minute, in case there's ever a problem with your internet connection.)
Import all data directly into Mac, Windows and online versions of Intuit Quickbookswithout needing to do separate data entry (Microsoft Money, Peachtree and Quicken are also supported).
Have more flexibility with your cash flow.Payroll taxes are not withdrawn from your account until you choose to pay them (warning: you will still be liable for interest and penalties if you pay late). This gives you the flexibility to ‘pay as you go’ or schedule payments for later. If you pay with direct deposit, the only money that comes out of your account when you run payroll is the net check amount. If you pay with paper checks, NOTHING comes out of your account until your employee actually cashes the check. Most 'full-service' payroll providers withdraw the full amount of the payroll including any tax liabilities (which might not be due for a month or more) each time you run payroll.
Inexpensive Flat Fee Pricing:
$40/month - Payroll for 1-5 employees, direct deposit, vacation and sick time tracking, state and Federal electronic tax filings and payments. Run payroll as often as you need to and view or print all your reports or forms anytime.
$12/month - per additional state after the first one you need to file in or pay taxes to.
$1.50/month - per additional active employee after the first five (an employee is active if they appear on the 'Create Paychecks' page, whether or not you pay them that month). You can also pay subcontractors through the system; each subcontractor counts as an employee when calculating your price.
Seasonal employers may be able to avoid monthly service charges by 'cancelling' their accounts during the months they have no payroll and, a week before running their next payroll, reactivating it. Note that in order to file quarterly or year-end reports and tax payments, the account must be reactivated (and the monthly fee will apply) for that month.
