Jo Landers offers fast, reliable shared hosting services through the same ISP she has been hosting her own site with for the past several years.

All hosting accounts include a sophisticated, easy to use control panel, allowing clients access to a wide range of features, including setting up email accounts, performing backups, and installing any of 52 different free scripts to enhance their web sites. MYSQL, CGI, PERL, POP email, and both Webalizer and AWStats are included in all hosting packages. Clients may set up as many email accounts and databases or load as many of the available features they want, limited only by the size of their available hosting space.

For clients who are also contracting for web services, hosting through Jo Landers, while not required, can provide savings. Since she is familiar with her hosting capabilities, set-up and configuration time can be reduced and extra features more easily added for any sites which require more than plain vanilla HTML coding. In addition, she is easily able to monitor site statistics, error logs, etc. during the site creation process, and provide additional services such as resetting lost email passwords.

Hosting Plans

All plans include CPanelX, site statistics, access to over 50 Fantastico scripts (including blogs, content management, chatrooms, image galleries, shopping carts, and site builders with templates) phpMyAdmin and CGI and PERL support. The number of email accounts and MySQL databases are limited only by the size of your hosting account.

Email-only Hosting - 25 mb storage, 1.0 gb bandwidth/month

$45/year paid annually
For hosting clients who may not have a website but do have a domain registered. Allows use of the domain name as part of your email address (you@yourdomain.com), reinforcing branding of your business name. Registering your own domain and using that for email also keeps your email address completely in your control, avoiding problems with using a free or ISP provided address which may change without warning. Enough space for 2 full-size email accounts and a small website, or divide up into several smaller email accounts for users who routinely download their email to their computers and/or don't send large attachments. Includes anti-spam software, webmail to check your email from any computer connected to the internet, and a control panel to add or modify accounts, set up 'out of the office' automatic replys, etc.

Personal - 50 mb storage, 2.5 gb bandwidth/month

$80/year paid annually
Plenty of room for smaller sites of 10-20 pages. No more than three 10 mb email accounts and/or add-on script features are recommended. Photographer Chris St. Pierre hosts with this package. Her site is using only 6 mb of the available space so she has plenty of room to grow, even with an email account with double the usual size allocation for transferring Photoshop files.

Small Business - 100 mb storage, 5 gb bandwidth/month

$15/month paid quarterly ($45) or $150/year paid annually (get 12 months for the price of 10!)
Room for sites of 50 pages or more running 5-8 email accounts and/or databases, image galleries or other add-on scripts. The artist Michael Kuch hosts using this size account. His site is over 50 pages and contains dozens of large images detailing his work. It's also the same hosting package I use. I don't usually need all the space but find it convenient when uploading entire client sites to hidden folders within my site for testing. I also use the room for uploading temporary backups of client Quickbooks files to password protected directories if no other backup system is available.

Designer - 250 mb storage, 12.5 gb bandwidth/month, up to 2 additional domains

$30/month paid quarterly ($90) or $300/year paid annually (get 12 months for the price of 10!)
Plenty of storage space and bandwidth for streaming video and audio, small to mid-size e-commerce, or hosting business sites with 15 or more email accounts and/or large databases. Includes the ability to add up to two additional domains.

Corporate - 500 mb storage, 25 gb bandwidth/month, up to 4 additional domains

$50/month paid quarterly ($150) or $500/year paid annually (get 12 months for the price of 10!)
This is for sites that need it all. Easily handles most larger business sites needing 25 or more separate, full-capacity email accounts, multiple large databases, and lots of room for a 50-100 page web site. Includes the ability to add up to four additional domains.
