Quickbooks Training & Consulting
We can help with both online and desktop versions of Quickbooks
Quickbooks training is usually provided one-on-one,
using the client's own bookkeeping files to ensure we meet their specific needs.
Training may focus on how to use the software (Quickbooks Online or Desktop), general bookkeeping theory and practice, or a combination of the two. Or a business owner or manager may want to focus on a specific set of tasks (for example, tracking and reconciling employee benefits, setting up job costing for client billing, or creating budgeting and forecasting systems).
Training sessions are tailored to the client’s needs and learning style. At our first meeting, we’ll discuss goals and desired outcomes and do a quick review of the existing bookkeeping system. Then we’ll schedule a series of trainings (typically in 2-hour blocks once a week). Trainings are usually done one-on-one with the bookkeeper or business owner, though small-group sessions may also be arranged.
We can also do a general account review and clean-up together, ensuring your books meet generally accepted accounting standards, and edit your chart of accounts or set up memorized reports so you can easily retrieve the most useful information for your business. And we may be able to recommend changes in your systems or procedures, or additional software to streamline your workflow or improve the information your bookkeeping system can provide.
We also offer DIY support subscriptions for clients who are comfortable doing most things themselves but want a ‘bookkeeper-on-call’ for a limited amount of time each month or quarter to help them with their more complicated tasks.
